So I’ve received a complaint that this blog hasn’t been updated in a while. You know who you are. It’s true though, I’ve been artistically lazy. A while back I bought some drift wood from an estate sale for like a buck. The elderly woman who had died was an artist named Rose whose paintings could be found in various restaurants and local joints around Gun Lake and Middleville. She went to Florida every year and collected lots of drift wood, sea shells, and other cool free stuff you’d find on the ground. I felt really dumb when I had painted “Ahoha” instead of “Aloha” on the surfboard and had to paint over it. I almost posted it until my mom said, um, that is not how you spell it, Amy. Anyway, enjoy the Mediterranean, lucky. And for the rest of you.. May God pour out His blessings on you today!
